The history of wine-cognac plant "Vinimpex" began in the spring of 1997. At that time the perspectives of its development were projected: manufacturing, bottling and save of spirituous liquors of our own production.
The construction was carried out on a level with the highest world standards, according the technologies of Moldavian and Bulgarian experts. Modern equipment was established in production departments of the plant.
And already in 1997 wine-cognac plant has made maiden production of wine: "Conventual hut ", " Bear’s blood ", "Varna" and other, which one become to be in demand in the markets of Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
The installation at the end of 1998 of the equipment for a membranous filtration and new equipment for distillation of the wine-materials and effecting of cognac alcohols has enabled to make robust alcoholic drinks, divines, brandy and other, conforming the requirements of the European standards.
For today, the plant has two lines of spreading capacity, which one allow to let out up to 35 thousand bottles of finished products in gang, using container of the different form and capacitances.
Heart of firm is shops of distillation of cognac alcohols. But the process of effecting of cognac alcohols is very labour-consuming and also demands large attention and experience. For obtaining qualitative cognac wine-materials refine white and pink kinds (varieties) of grapes, which one should not have specific, hardly expressed flavor and intensive coloring. Grapes refine on a "white" way on 2 production lines.
Obtained cognac wine-materials store in bimetallic capacitances without application of a sulphurous anhydride. The distillation wine-materials on cognac alcohols are made on the modern Swiss equipment from the company « Arnold Holstein ». The distillation is made by a periodic way, in copper distillation columns keeping their forms and volumes of three thousands years ago limitation, by epoch of revival of a cognac. The exact distillation of the wine-materials is to avoid, firstly, appearance of strangers (defective) tones, secondly, - to extract from wine-materials bouquetic matter and sufficient quantity of concomitant connections, to achieve harmonic, pleasant equilibrium. The distillation is very delicate, thin operation requiring of wide experience, heightened attention the one who carries out and control it. It some kind of art. The specialists, which work in shop of distillation, monitor day and night behind activity of the installations. They are the good cellar men and in the necessary moment take head and tail fractions, removing waste impurity.
Fresh made cognac alcohol - colourless, transparent drink, stability about 70 degrees concentration, having strong thin flavor.
Effecting cognac alcohols on firm was based in 1999 and with each year is augmented. So if in 2002 was made 60 thousand decalitres of cognac alcohols, in present year is planned to make 80 thousand decalitres, and achieve hereafter effect up to 120 thousand decalitres.
It is doubtless, that the storage and exposure of alcohols demands worthy storehouse. "VINIMPEX" disposes not only capacious storehouse for cognac alcohols, but also excellent oak container. The role of barrel in technology of a cognac consists not only in serving capacitance for young alcohol, but also mainly to transmit to him extractives of woods indispensable for a maturing. Without effect of wood the organoleptic properties of a cognac are not reshaped even at long-term storage.
Annually firm builds up on long-term storage and exposure not less than 30 thousand decalitres of own effecting cognac alcohols with the subsequent control and tasting under the direction of the best specialists of Moldova.
The bought experience has allowed equipping firm with modern technologies and laboratory to control quality of production. The plant disposes the modern installation from the Italian company « Della Toffola » for a subzero treatment of cognacs, that allows to receive really qualitative production not subject to temperature oscillations.
"VINIMPEX" makes 5 perfectly familiar to customers marks of cognacs: “Belii Aist”,"Sterh", "5 *****", "Fluerash" and "3 ***". And the efforts of the specialists do not remain unnoticed. It is enough to mark, that on the exhibition "ExpoVinMoldova-2003" for the first time introduced on tasting competition the four-years cognac "Fluerash" was awarded by a medal of the exhibition. The cognacs of firm are stored by the brightly expressed individuality, palatability and charming bouquet.

History of the cognac appearance is interesting. In 1641 in France the taxes for white wines were heightened, which one the wine dealers of department Charanta removed in big quantities in England, Sweden, Norway and Finland. In order to avoid those taxes, they have decided to reduce a volume of production by distillation fault, considering, that the will be possible to dilute obtained product for customers by water and again to receive wine in a full volume. So the cognac has appeared.
The effect of cognac’s (divine) ingredients on human organism is well known: the extractive substances of cognac alcohol raise our blood pressure intensifying the alcohol action at the same time; many polyphenols with activity of vitamin P , favor vitamin C conservation in the organism. It has been a tradition to mark the number of years cognacs are seasoned with stars; this tradition goes back to the second half of the XIX century, to those times when wine-makers suffered a great deal from the pernicious action of phylloxera. At that time the barrels containing the first good harvest were marked with a star (a comet-in legendary of the year 1811, the legendary year of the comet). The wines produced that year were extraordinary good. The second productive year of winemaking was marked with 2 stars, etc.

Therefore specialists of firm have elaborated a few completely new brands of the wines and cognacs, which one we plan to use long years.
